Heavy Metal Steampunk Lenco – SOLD!

This is a 100-pound Classic Lenco (Plain & Simple), which is sonically superior to those I built back when I did pre Reference Lenco Shootouts vs extreme high end turntables, like the first Forsell air-bearing turntable, a SME 30/Graham Phantom/Benz LP combination, and in public a Shootout vs a $50,000 EMT 927.  Silence is deeper, torque and speed stability is superior, plinths have improved, and now options are available which I didn’t have back then to raise the sound quality even further.  This ‘table is more than good enough for the world’s best cost-no-object tonearms, but this one comes with a matching VPI JMW 10.5i, which is extremely good on this rig and worthy of the best cartridges.  The finish is pebbled charcoal chalk paint, with Lenco blueprints silkscreened on, then clearcoated.  Comes with special metacrylate mat, special grey metal footers.  Price for the ‘table is $3750, plus an additional $1600 for the tonearm (current retail $2600).
